My name is Mrs Brown and I am the Year Manager for Year 11.
I have been employed at Kepier for eleven years and this is the second year group I have worked with.
It is an absolute pleasure to work alongside a group of learners from their very first day in Year 7, all the way through until they leave us in Year 11.
I aim to support each and every one of the learners with their education, and to encourage positive attitudes to learning and good behaviour in and around school. I truly value the support I receive from parents, carers and families, and the relationships we forge, enable our learners to succeed.
In my role, I take the lead in the day to day running of the year group and I am the first port of call for learners, parents/carers in relation to learner behaviour and barriers to learning. I am on-call and available for learners throughout the day and after school. I manage behaviour and attendance and deal with any bullying issues that may arise. I also support the work of the coaches and liaise with department leaders, to resolve any difficulties/issues.
I have extremely high expectations and demand that all learners give 100% effort in order to make the best progress possible, and ensure they realise and reach their true potential. Working together equals success – anything is possible!
