We believe that every learner in our school should be inspired, challenged and supported to achieve their full potential. To ensure this happens, we regularly assess and report on your child’s performance. Your child’s effort (in and out of the classroom) is closely monitored by every subject teacher. This ensures we can work with children and their families to address any issues which may arise.

Parents/carers receive gradebook reports which summarise their child’s attainment, progress and attitude to learning in each of the subjects they are studying. We actively encourage parents to contact the school, to discuss any issues which arise from a gradebook report.

The reports we issue are simple to understand and clear in what they show. Supplementary notes are included with the report, but if you still have questions, we are always happy to help.

We hope this gives you an overview of how we report to parents. If you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact Mr Langley, Deputy Headteacher.
