Park Safely Outside SchoolSunderland City Councils Road Safety Team would like to remind all parents/carers to please park safely, legally and considerately, this means even for a few minutes to drop off or pick up your child.
We are regularly liaising with the council’s Parking Services team about when they can visit the road outside each school in the city, to help us keep the road clear.
A mobile enforcement vehicle is fitted with a CCTV camera which captures any vehicle that is parked illegally on School Keep Clears. If you park illegally the registered keeper may receive a penalty charge notice from the mobile enforcement vehicle. During school term-time the enforcement vehicle focuses on school entrances at the start and finishing times during the school day.
