Update: 14th May 2021

Free School Meals – May Half Term 2021
We will be sending out FSM vouchers to those eligible for Free School Meals.  This half term the voucher will be £20.  If you are not in receipt of FSM and you think you may be eligible please apply via Together for Children (Sunderland Council) website.

 

Update: 10th Feb 2021

If you are in receipt of FSM you will receive your Edenred voucher for this week.

Edenred vouchers are not available over the half term but you will receive a Wonde voucher (sent to your email address, the same as Christmas).

We are processing both vouchers this week but given the demand on the systems processing these, across the Country, please leave a few days before contacting us if you don’t receive these immediately.

Update: 14th Jan 2021

From the beginning of the January term we have provided food hampers to those eligible for FSM. If you haven’t yet been in touch and would like a hamper please contact us on fsm@kepier.com or call reception on 0191 512 8960.

Vouchers for W/C 06 July 2020 have been sent and the voucher for W/C 13 July 2020 will to be sent to you next week.

Due to the unprecedented nature of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, the Government have launched a Covid Summer Food Fund for all entitled learners, including Year 11 leavers. A single £90.00 voucher for the 6 week school summer holiday period will be sent to you week commencing 20 July 2020. The voucher does not have to be spent in full, in one transaction.

Update: 24.06.2020

Vouchers for W/C 22nd June 2020 have been sent and will continue to be sent on a weekly basis.

Please remember to check your emails and redeem the voucher codes online before going to the supermarket.

Following government guidance, Free School Meal Vouchers for all entitled learners, including Year 11 will continue up to and including the Summer break. Guidance regarding the payment of vouchers over the Summer Break will be updated to keep you informed, once available.

Free School Meal Vouchers for learners in Year 11 will continue up to and including Friday 26th June 2020.

Update: 22.05.2020 1030

Over the next few days you should receive all FSM vouchers up to and including the week of the 25th May 2020 – This includes funds from the scheme for the bank holiday and half term.

Vouchers for W/C 1st June 2020 should be received by the 31st May 2020.

Update: 11.05.2020 1200
You should have now received all vouchers up to and including this week the 11th May 2020.
Emails containing your voucher will now be sent out on a weekly basis; with next week’s voucher (W/C 18.05.2020) being sent out in the next few days.

Update: 04.05.2020 1200
All Free School Meals vouchers of £15 each for the W/C 20th and 27th of April have been released.  If you have provided an email address please check your inbox as you should now have received 4 vouchers in total (W/C 20th, 27th, 6th and 13th of April).
You should receive the vouchers for W/C the 4th May and the 11th May this week.  You will receive a full £15 for W/C the 4th of May (including the bank holiday Friday 8th May).

Update: 01/05/2020 1030

If you are entitled to free school meals you should have received an email to redeem your vouchers from Edenred.co.uk.  Please check your email and ensure you have started to receive these emails. The vouchers for the 6th and 13th of April have been released with the 20th and 27th of April due this week. Update: 27/04/2020 1000

Vouchers from the National Government Scheme should now be with you if you have provided your email and are entitled to free school meals.  The vouchers you should have received are for week commencing the 6th and 13th of April.

The voucher for last week (commencing 20th April) and this week (commencing 27th April) are on the Government site waiting to be released; we expect these to be with you any day now.  The weekly amount you will receive is £15.

Update: 01/04/2020 1300

Thank you to all who have contacted the school, in the last week, regarding free school meal eligibility.
The Government announced today that a National voucher scheme will be introduced from the 20th April 2020 (after the Easter Holidays). Kepier will be following this Government scheme.
This means that from the 20th of April each child entitled to free school meals, who is not attending school, will be entitled to a single supermarket voucher to the value of £15 each week.  This voucher will be paid to the adult with caring responsibility for that child.
If you are eligible and have an email address you will be able to pick your preferred supermarket voucher (including Morrisons, Tescos, M&S, Asda and Sainsbury’s).  If you do not have an email address we can send you a voucher via the post (in these circumstances it may not be possible for you to pick the supermarket of your choice),
To enable us to ensure you receive your voucher please contact us at fsm@kepier.com with your email address and the name of your child for which you have caring responsibilities.  You do not need to send your details if you have done so in the last 10 days. In addition, if you have received your free school eligibility from the school from the 23rd March 2020 this will end on Friday the 3rd April 2020 as the entitlement is not applicable over the school Easter holidays
