Due to the increased popularity of our school, and pastoral support is an integral part of supporting a learner’s academic success at Kepier, we are seeking to expand our Pastoral Support Team.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of our young people.

The successful applicant will work closely with the Senior Pastoral Leaders, within safeguarding, wellbeing, behaviour and attendance, offering support and challenge to ensure that every learner can thrive.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing one-to-one and small group mentoring to support pupils’ personal, social and academic development.
  • Working directly with children and young people experiencing challenges with mental health and wellbeing, behaviour, attendance and SEND

We are looking for someone who is approachable, resilient, highly organised and committed to supporting young people to reach their full potential.

At Kepier, we are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and we expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. As part of our due diligence, and in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education, an online search of publicly available information will be undertaken for all shortlisted candidates. Any offer of employment will be subject to pre-employment checks, including an enhanced DBS disclosure and a Children’s Barred List check.
