Year 9 Option Form Information

11th March 2021Abigail Allen
Dear Parents/Carers,
Thank you so much for helping your child to fill in their options form. We have had a fantastic response. If you haven’t already done so, would you mind ticking the parental consent box, which is near the bottom of the form? Here’s how to do it:
  1. Register for SIMS, using the invitation that was sent to you by email last night
  2. Once you’ve successfully registered, go to www.sims-options.co.uk and log in
  3. You will see your child’s options form
  4. Check that you are happy with the choices that have been made AND the priority order in which they appear
  5. If you are happy, tick the ‘parental consent’ box near the bottom of the form.
  6. Click ‘Save’ near the top left corner of the form

And that’s it!

If you have any problems with this, please don’t worry. We will contact you in other ways to get your consent.
Mr Langley

If your child is eligible for free school meals, you will soon receive a voucher to use towards food
and other essential items over the Christmas school holidays.

We know that fuel needs and costs can increase also during the winter months, so additional help is
available during this time.

A £10 fuel top up is available for qualifying families accessing their fuel via a pre-payment meter.

relevant to you.

If you have a fuel meter and are currently in arrears:

up now.

They will also arrange for you to be issued with a £10 top up code direct to your phone.
You will be asked to confirm you are eligible for free school meals and to provide your name and
address.

Update for Parents/Carers of children currently self isolating due to Bubble Closures

14th December 2020Abigail Allen

**Parent/Carer update for learners self isolating due to bubble closures**

Dear Parent / Carer.

Key Stage 3

Following reductions to the self isolation period from 14 days to 10 days, learners in years 7,8 and 9 who were due to self isolate up until and including Friday 18.12.20 are expected to return to Kepier from Tuesday 15.12.20. We will be closed to all learners Friday 18th December 2020  due to our planned INSET day.

Key Stage 4

Despite recent changes to the self-isolation period (from 14 days to 10 days) which should have seen most learners returning to school on Tuesday 15th December, we have taken the difficult decision that all learners in Year 10 and Year 11 should stay at home and continue with remote learning until the end of the school day on Thursday 17th December. This is due to short-term staffing issues related to COVID-19. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact us. Kepier will be closed to all learners on Friday 18th December due our scheduled INSET day.
