When we see posts on instagram, sometimes we hear the phrase #instavsreality. This is the idea that sometimes what we see in a post, a feed, an image isn’t necessarily the full story or the truth.Take a look at the guide below which explains how to spot fake news.

Diet

27th May 2020Jeremy Gartland

Having a balanced diet is very important for our physical and mental health. We get this balance by making sure our food has a variety of different food types such as proteins, carbohydrates, fibre and fats. Here are some tips, articles and recipes that can help you to understand your diet!

*Top tips*

  • Drink plenty of fluids (6-8 glasses a day)
  • Aim to have 5 portions of fruit/vegetables every day
  • Don’t skip breakfast! It can feel like a waste of time in the morning when you’re in a rush but studies have shown that breakfast is very important for setting up your energy levels for the rest of the day
