Summer School Event
All year 6 learners, who are moving up to Kepier in September, are invited to attend a 5 day summer school event in August. This event will include
-2 days of activities on Kepier premises
This will be Monday 9th August and Tuesday 10th August; 09:30am to 14:30pm.
On-site activities will consist of getting to know your new school, meeting teachers and creating new friendships. There will also be a number of āmoving upā activities that you can participate in to get you ready for your September start.
–3 days and 2 nights at Kingswood.
This will take place on Wednesday 11th, Thursday 12th and Friday 13th August at Dukeshouse Wood, Fellside, Hexham, Northumberland, NE46 1TP. If you require any further information regarding Kingswood, this can be found on their website here https://www.kingswood.co.uk/.
Kepier will be providing transport and covering all costs for Kingswood including meals whilst in attendance.
In order to attend Kingswood, you must also attend the two days of on-site activities.

Congratulations to Miss McGrath, Freya, Layla, Fraser, Thomas, Jake and Willow.
They all took part in the LEGO League Challenge .Ā They had to compete in a series of challenges with the robot they designed, built and programmed. Normally they would have had 6 months to prepare, but they have manged to complete in only 10 weeks.
We are very pleased to say they have been awarded a Silver Industrial Cadets Award and very successfully won the award for Regional Robot Design.
We are all extremely proud of them. Very well done!
Congratulations to Georgia. Georgia recently represented Kepier, in the Teaching Gadget International Online competition for music lessons. We are very proud to say she achieved 4th place for Kepier, after seeing off competitors from around the world.

Dear Parent / Carer,
I hope you and your family are well.
Following my previous communication, I would like to invite you to our virtual Parentsā Evening on Tuesday 20th April 2021 starting at 16.30. The purpose of this presentation will be to share Kepier’s transition plans with you and give you some further information now your child has been allocated a place in our September 2021 intake. It is anticipated that this presentation will last no longer than 45 minutes and will cover queries which you may have. There will be a chat facility available whereby you can type questions which will be monitored by Kepier staff and where possible questions answered throughout the presentation.
If you are joining this presentation via a mobile device, you must be logged into a Google account. Google Meet has a maximum capacity of 250 participants and therefore we would ask that only one device per household connects to the meeting. In addition to this, you will need to ensure that your camera and microphones are turned off. I would advise that you try and log into Google Meet before the presentation starts. You will need to be accepted into the meeting, we will start to accept you into the Google Meet from 16.15.

Dear Parent / Carer,
Please see attached the following information in relation to COVID-19 self-testing for learners. There are two attachments, they are;
- Information regarding distribution and recording of self-testing
- Self-testing guide (NHS Track and Trace)
Please note: Self-test kits will only be distributed to learners who we have consent for Lateral Flow Testing. If you wish for your child to be issued with a self-testing kit, please contact your child’s Year Manager.
