What is a BTEC Tech Award in Sport?

This award is equivalent to one GCSE. It is suitable for everyone; it aims to provide an understanding of the types and different providers of sport and physical activity. It looks at the different participants, their needs and how participation in sport and physical activity can be increased. Traditional aspects of PE courses, such as anatomy and physiology, are covered whilst also giving learners the opportunity to plan and deliver sports drills and sessions.
